The beauty look for the Belstaff autumn winter 2014 collection was reminiscent of an edgy city girl in the late 70’s/early 80’s. Hair with waves that weren’t too perfect, and minimal makeup emphasizing a shadowy eye.
Makeup artist Sally Branka for MAC created a bright faced and barely there look. Light moisturizing foundation set the canvas. The eyes were the highlight, with a stained effect on the upper lids and around the lower lid lines using Studio Finish Concealer as a shadow. The look was enhanced with a liner to pop the eye.
Natural waves, created by Shon for Bumble and Bumble had a light texture.
Here’s how to get he style by Shon:
1. Apply Bumble & Bumble thickening spray all throughout damp hair 2. Blowdry 3. Add volume by creating large sections, and applying Brilliantine to roots 4. Blowdrying roots 5. Add Brilliantine throughout the sections of the hair to create more definition between the separate pieces 6. Finish with a spray, they used Does it All hairspray
