To me, this dress summed up the feeling Veronica Etro created by converging the modern styling of today’s woman with fine tailoring from eras past. Citing inspiration from Blade Runner and Seven Years in Tibet, a film noir feeling with edgy femininity was created. Pixelated in feeling with the micro beads blurring from yellow to black, creating a digital looking pattern. Bold and graphic with elegance in silhouette and sexiness in well placed cut out details.

The Etro Fall 2013 collection brought a full house of fashion celebrities. The show was buzzing with anticipation with the kaleidoscopic lighting effects adding to the mood.

Structured oversized jackets with large patch pockets, banded leather trims and obvious zippers. Dramatic futuristic prints that fade into solids in nearly every look.

Heavily textured oversized jacquards. Golden yellow paired with black dominated the color story. Accents of red, burgundy and magenta. Pants were shorter inseam in prints, jacquards and color blocked leather. An element of surprise with peekaboo cut out details in interesting places, high front slits, plunging open back details and a long column dress with low front v and racy open back.
