Happy Halloween Tati-Istas! Yesterday at the studio, we decided it would be fun to do some pumpkin carving.
Just in case you were thinking of pumpkin carving, it’s not too late!
Of course, we were inspired by fashion, so we added a fun touch of some glittery gold eyebrows inspired by the amazing beauty at the J.C. de Castelbajac fashion show from last Paris fashion week. It looked so great on the runway that we wanted to have fun replicating to bring some glamour to Halloween. We thought the gilded eyebrows were a nice touch to our pumpkin.
There’s a neighborhood pumpkin patch in NYC where you can take your carved pumpkins, so we added ours to the group today for everyone in the neighborhood to enjoy. There were some really cute pumpkins in the patch!
We liked seeing ours lit up at night last night before taking it over to the patch.
Did you guys know that the NYC Halloween Parade is the USA’s largest Halloween parade, and that over 2 million people attend each year? I’ve been watching it with my friends for years, but I didn’t realize it had that many attendees! It goes right thru my neighborhood in Greenwich Village.
For those of you that want to go, it’s at 7pm tonight, and should last until about 11. Be prepared, the crowds are huge and if you want to see anything you have to get there early. I usually just watch a few minutes of it and of course if you don’t feel like leaving your apartment, you can always see it live streamed!
Now, I have to decide if I want to whip up a last minute halloween costume for a little Halloween party this evening!!!
So, what will you do for Halloween? Are you still whipping up last minute Halloween costume ideas?
