The Reem Acra Fall 2014 collection was anchored in the classic colors of winter white, red, and black. You felt a 50’s vibe with the short fur shrugs, capes, and just below the knee hems.
The delicate champagne numbers with beading in just the right places and gathers of silk caught my eye and reminded me of something that might inspire the costume of a figure skater for the Sochi Russia winter Olympics.
Dimension was built with fabrics that had movement and through layering, like the iridescent shimmer with the layers of beaded lace in the closing look worn by Jac Jagaciak. Other looks featured lustrous coated feathers.
While watching the collections, sometimes I like to think of where you might were such dresses. The Met Gala? The Grammys? Cannes?
