I’m back from Paris. Just thinking back to that beautiful city. One of my favorite things to do during fashion week, after the shows are over and on the last day, is to wander around the city and discover new places with my friends in Paris.
Everyone always asks me for recommendations to restaurants when they visit, but the fact is you can find great food in so many places, it’s just part of the experience.
One of the best, is the little street side bistros where you can sit and have a relaxing lunch while enjoying the Parisian ambience. The little sidewalk cafes are so cute and charming they invite you in!
Some of the bistros offer the best home style cooking with fresh soups and salads, and lots of other home cooked French style food. It’s always about what’s fresh and the menus change daily with special offerings of the “Plat du Jour”. I usually chose one of their suggestions and I can’t remember ever being disappointed.
It’s also fun to sit at the little French bistros for a coffee in the afternoon to give a boost after the long days of fashion week! I so enjoy an afternoon espresso while traveling!
This particular little bistro was a welcome treat on the last day. I was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open, but I wasn’t about to miss out on a fun day in Paris before leaving to head back home to NYC. I’m looking forward to getting back home just in time for apple picking in the Hudson Valley!
Most days I don’t have time for makeup, even if I blog about backstage beauty, you’d think I’d put more thought into it. A splash of colorful lipstick like this Mac so Chaud is about as far as I got today, but who cares anyway.
Necklace : Catbird NYC (mentioning because you asked). Guys if your looking for something pretty for your girl, just go there.
